Born in 1678 and died in 1761, his life was full of mystery but his ingenuity revolutionized the dental world.<\/p>\n<p>Author of the reference work: &#8216;The dental surgeon, or treatise on teeth&#8217; published in 1728, he laid the foundations of dentistry, introducing his contemporaries to the rudiments of a profession fiercely defended for its recognition. For fifty years of career, Pierre Fauchard put the comfort of the patient at the heart of his concerns, working to combat his fears, to install him in an appropriate seat and to ensure the briefest intervention. An Approach adopted by generations of dentists and constantly improved to this day&#8230;<\/p>\n            \n                    <\/figcaption>\n                    <img class=\"lazyload\"
